Medical Report
Aberfeldy February 2nd 1861
We hereby certify on soul and conscience that on the 30th January last we visited and jointly examined the body of George Munro at Upper Acharn.
Deceased appeared to be between four and five years of age, the body was still warm and death must have been quite recent. On examination we found a severe incised wound or cut, extending from within an inch of the middle of the back of the right ear to a point about half an inch below and in front of the lower lobe of the left ear. the wound reached to the bone throughout most of its extent dividing all the muscles and bloodvessels in its course.
No other marks of external violence were visible and the child appeared to be healthy and well developed.
We are of the opinion that death was caused by hemorhage from said wound.
