The whistler

This image shows the construction of Queen Elizabeth 2 in John Brown and Company's shipyard, Clydebank. At its height, in the first half of the 20th century, John Brown and Company were one of the most internationally famous shipbuilders in the world. The QE2's maiden voyage from Southampton to New York commenced on 2 May 1969, taking four days.
